Schalke 04 Relieved as Star Midfielder Amine Harit Skips Morocco Duty

The non-selection of the Moroccan international, Amine Harrit, relieves his club, Schalke 04, which intends to take advantage of the performances of its young player.
According to the newspaper, Bild, Jochen Schneider, sporting director of Schalke 04, Amine Harit would remain in his club to enjoy a short break. "We wish him to be able to soon show his talent with the Moroccan national team," said the sporting director.
Schneider’s remarks come the day after Vahid Halilhodzic’s media outing, in the run-up to the Moroccan national team’s match this Friday, November 15, 2019.
During this press conference, the coach showed that he was disappointed with the performance of the best player in the Bundesliga. "I am not satisfied with his technical performance and his commitment. He has been in the national team for a few years, and he has still shown nothing, his statistics with the national team are not good," said the boss of the Atlas Lions’ technical staff.
Vahid Halilhodzic expressed his displeasure with Amine [Harrit]: "When he doesn’t play, he does everything to get back to his club. He’s only there when he plays and I don’t guarantee anyone as an undisputed starter. We must not be selfish. We must always respect the national team," said the Bosnian.
