Schalke 04 Star Amine Harit Caught Violating COVID-19 Lockdown at Shisha Bar

Moroccan international Amine Harit violated the confinement measures imposed on all players of the Schalke 04 club. The Atlas Lion went to a shisha bar in Essen (a city in western Germany) on Thursday.
The local police had gone to the premises where the 22-year-old offensive midfielder was smoking shisha. "It is true that Amine was there with a friend. It is a mistake that he has now also recognized. I have once again reminded him of the seriousness of his act. In this grave crisis situation, things that were normal yesterday can no longer be tolerated today. Amine is very sorry and it will not happen again," reacted Jochen Schneider, the sporting director of Schalke 04.
Amine Harit has shown hypocrisy since a few hours earlier he had called on the population, including his teammates, to respect the measures taken by the government in general and his club in particular.
"We are in a difficult situation for a few weeks. I hope everyone takes the subject seriously and respects the government’s recommendations," he had written. This message was posted on the official website of his club.
