Saudi Soccer Star Sparks Outrage with Traffic-Blocking Stunt

In a video that went viral on social media, the former Atlas Lion was caught blocking the way, in the middle of traffic, to his teammate Hamed Al Mansour. As the two players were on their way to training, the Moroccan "bad boy" prevented his partner with his vehicle for a few minutes.

This behavior, considered "irresponsible", provoked the anger of many Saudis and Internet users. A hashtag was even created on the occasion, to alert the authorities and demand a fine against the striker.

A few weeks ago, Hamdallah had found himself in a similar situation at Riyadh airport. The Al Nassr star had literally opposed the passage of his pregnant wife through the security scanner, hurling insults at the Saudi authorities, and more particularly at the policewoman who had decided to file a complaint against him for verbal assault.
