Saudi Club Al-Fateh Denies Interest in Signing Hakim Ziyech
Al-Fateh coach José Gomes has denied rumors announcing the arrival of Hakim Ziyech at the Saudi club. In recent weeks, there had been talk of advanced discussions with the Moroccan international.
During a press conference, the Portuguese technician stated that he had never requested the recruitment of the Moroccan player or that of Ahmed Sayed, known as Zizo, during the winter transfer window.
"The rumors circulating on this subject are unfounded," said José Gomes, specifying that the club’s administration is working to strengthen the team according to the identified needs. The priority would be given to other positions than the one occupied by Ziyech.
This statement puts an end to the speculation about the future of the Moroccan international. After his departure from Galatasaray, Ziyech is still looking for a new club. Several destinations are still possible, but Al-Fateh no longer seems to be an option.
