Salon Owner Attacks Former Employee After Losing Wrongful Dismissal Case in Berrechid
In Berrechid, an employee had filed a lawsuit after being unfairly dismissed by his employer. The latter committed suicide by strangulation with a rope.
The events took place last Thursday in Berrechid, in the Casablanca-Settat region. An employee had filed a complaint for unfair dismissal against his employer, the manager of a hair salon. The justice had ruled in favor of the plaintiff, condemning the employer to pay him an indemnity of 140,000 DH.

The accused thought he had killed him. In a hysterical state, he committed suicide, reports the daily Al Akhbar.
Alerted, the security services and the competent authorities of the city arrived on the scene. Seriously injured, the victim was taken to the city hospital before being later transferred to the Ibn Rochd University Hospital Center (CHU) in Casablanca, due to his critical condition. As for the body of the employer, it was evacuated to the morgue.
