A Ryanair Boeing 737 on the Brussels-Oujda route "urgently" returned to Barcelona airport due to technical problems.
The low-cost Irish airline’s plane made an "emergency" turnaround to Barcelona airport due to technical problems related to the flaps (high-lift devices), the Spanish air traffic controllers said on their official Twitter account.
Coming from Brussels and bound for Oujda, Morocco, the aircraft landed without difficulty, after the controllers gave it priority. At the beginning of the weekend, another Ryanair plane also returned to Menorca due to technical problems.
