Vueling Flight Diverts to Spain After Passenger Suffers Fatal Heart Attack

A Vueling airline plane from Morocco had to make an emergency landing on Thursday at Saragossa airport due to a passenger suffering a heart attack.
The plane, bound for Paris Orly from Agadir, Morocco, made an emergency landing around 9 a.m. Thursday in Saragossa, with about 125 passengers on board. They were asked to disembark while a medical team tried to resuscitate the 81-year-old Asian man who suffered a heart attack mid-flight. Unfortunately, the emergency services were unable to save the passenger, reports Hoy Aragon.
The octogenarian began to feel unwell during the flight and the crew suspected a heart attack. The captain then decided to make an emergency landing at Saragossa airport where the emergency services were quickly activated. The captain informed the airline that he was no longer able to continue the flight. The plane took off from Saragossa in the afternoon, after the arrival of a new pilot.
