Ryanair Expands Morocco Routes, Adds Flights to Marrakech and Agadir for Summer 2022

The airline Ryanair will operate flights to Marrakech and launch a new route to another Moroccan city as part of its summer 2022 program, thus denying reports of its likely withdrawal from the Moroccan market.
Contrary to the information published by Maghreb Intelligence, Ryanair does not intend to "definitively withdraw" from Morocco as of May 2022. The company announced on Thursday its summer 2022 flight program from Dublin (Ireland), which includes Marrakech, as well as a new route to Agadir, reports CH-Aviation. In total, 120 destinations and more than 900 weekly flights will be operated by the company.
Reacting to rumors about Ryanair’s departure from Morocco, Moroccan Tourism Minister Fatim-Zahra Ammor assured that the company does not intend to withdraw from the Moroccan market. She also specified that she is still in contact with the Irish low-cost airline, which plans to reschedule its flights to Morocco as soon as the kingdom’s borders reopen.
In early December 2021, the Irish low-cost airline had announced the suspension of its flights to Morocco until February 1 due to a "lack of clarity" from the Moroccan government.
