Ryanair to Resume Morocco Flights Once Borders Reopen, Tourism Minister Confirms

The Minister of Tourism reacted to rumors about Ryanair’s departure from Morocco, stating that the airline is indeed continuing its activities in the kingdom.
When questioned on the issue, during a program on Le360, Fatim-Zahra Ammor indicated that the company does not intend to withdraw from the Moroccan market, specifying that it is still in contact with the airline, which plans to reschedule its flights to Morocco as soon as the country’s borders reopen.
"All airlines stopped their flights [to Morocco] in December and January. This is quite normal since the borders are closed. Now I can tell you that we are in contact with Ryanair. They will reschedule their flights as soon as the borders reopen," the minister said.
Moreover, the Irish low-cost airline announced last week the opening at the end of March of a new seasonal route between its base in Marrakech-Menara and Limoges airport, she recalled.
