Russia Offers Morocco COVID-19 Vaccine as Country Prepares for Chinese Trials

The new vaccine developed by Russia is of interest to Moroccan importers, says the Russian Federation’s ambassador to Rabat. This is happening at a time when Morocco is preparing to start clinical trials for a Chinese vaccine.
After recalling that Morocco is starting clinical trials with a Chinese vaccine next Monday, September 7, Valerian Shuvaev said that Moroccan importers had already expressed interest in the vaccine developed by his country. The Russian diplomat added that Russia had proposed to set up a production and testing base for the vaccine developed by his country in Morocco, according to the Russian news agency Sputnik.
"We have approached all the countries in the world, including Morocco. We are proceeding on the basis that our proposal will lead to a positive development," concluded Valerian Shuvaev.
