Royal Air Maroc Resumes Thrice-Weekly Flights to Angola’s Capital

The national airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has decided to resume its flights to and from Angola.
Royal Air Maroc is making a comeback in Angola. The airline will relaunch its flights to Lunda, the Angolan capital, starting December 9, 2022, with three frequencies per week. Thus, the planes will take off every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca to land at Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport in Luanda at 3:55 am the next day. As for the return flights, the planes will depart from Luanda every Monday, Thursday, Saturday at 4:55 am to Casablanca Airport at 12:00 pm the same day.

According to local sources, this route will allow Angolan travelers to access their preferred destinations, particularly Portugal and Spain, where Royal Air Maroc is present. The company operates daily flights to Lisbon, Malaga, Barcelona and Madrid. This link also has the advantage of connecting Porto, the second largest Portuguese city. Royal Air Maroc schedules two weekly flights there. The outbound flights will depart from Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca every Monday, Friday at 4:15 pm with landing at Porto International Airport at 4:55 pm. As for the return flights, the plane will depart from Porto every Monday, Friday at 5:55 pm to Casablanca at 8:30 pm.
