Royal Air Maroc Resumes Casablanca-Porto Flights After Pandemic Pause

The national airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is preparing to relaunch the link between Casablanca and Porto (Portugal). This line has remained suspended since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Royal Air Maroc is returning to Porto. Starting December 9, 2022, the Moroccan national airline will connect Casablanca-Mohammed V airport to Porto-Francisco Sa Carneiro airport with three weekly flights, reports Air Journal. These flights will be operated with an Embraer 190 that can accommodate 12 passengers in Business class and 84 in Economy. Outbound flights are scheduled from January on Mondays and Fridays at 4:15 pm for an arrival at 4:55 pm. As for the return flights, they leave Portugal at 5:55 pm to land at 8:30 pm.
In addition to the resumption of the Casablanca-Porto line, Royal Air Maroc plans to relaunch two other international lines in December. These are the Casablanca-Tenerife-South line in the Canary Islands with Thursday and Saturday rotations, and the Casablanca/Luanda-Quatro de Feveriero line in Angola on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
It should be recalled that the Oneworld alliance company had resumed its flights to Lisbon after the reopening of borders in February.
