Royal Air Maroc opens six new routes, here is the list

Royal Air Maroc announced on Tuesday the opening of six new routes connecting Tangier and Nador to several major Spanish and German cities. This expansion aims to consolidate the tourism and economic connectivity of the north of the Kingdom as early as this summer.

The national airline is continuing to expand its territorial network by now connecting Tangier to the Spanish metropolises of Malaga, Madrid and Barcelona. At the same time, Nador airport is opening up further to Europe with the inauguration of direct flights to Barcelona, as well as to the German hubs of Frankfurt and Düsseldorf. These new routes, whose launches will be spread between July and September 2026, complement the recent openings of routes from Tetouan and Casablanca.

This commercial offensive is part of a point-to-point strategy aimed at supporting the regional dynamic. For Hamid Addou, CEO of RAM, this deployment "demonstrates the commitment to promoting the tourism influence of the Kingdom". He specifies that these routes respond to "sustained demand" and will facilitate the crucial economic and human exchanges between the two shores of the Mediterranean, positioning the company as a global player in mobility.

The network will now connect five Moroccan cities to nine Spanish destinations, totaling more than 80 weekly frequencies. The German market is also being strengthened, with three metropolises connected to Casablanca, Nador and Oujda, ensuring more than 35 rotations per week. Ticket sales have started this Tuesday, anticipating the flows of the high summer season.
