Royal Air Maroc Named ’Best Airline in Africa’ for Second Year Running

The national airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has been rewarded again at the 21st edition of the "GT Tested Reader Survey Awards" organized by the prestigious American magazine Global Traveler.
Royal Air Maroc (RAM) receives for the second consecutive year the award for "best airline in Africa" at the 21st edition of the "GT Tested Reader Survey Awards" organized by the prestigious American magazine Global Traveler. "This major distinction, obtained for the second consecutive year, testifies to Royal Air Maroc’s constant efforts to offer a better customer experience. It also reflects the national airline’s commitment to strengthening air connectivity and promoting the influence of Africa internationally," the company said in a press release.
Its Chief Executive Officer expresses his pride "in having obtained this important distinction for the second consecutive year, which confirms our policy of continuous improvement. Our customers are at the center of our priorities, and I thank them for their trust and loyalty. They represent the central axis of our development plan." RAM owes this new distinction "to the projects and actions" undertaken to offer passengers an improved and constantly evolving travel experience. And to add: "This quest for excellence is shared by our colleagues on the ground and in the air, whom I warmly thank. We will continue this dynamic to consolidate our position as the leader in African air transport, while contributing to the influence of our country and our continent."
The Oneworld alliance, of which Royal Air Maroc has been a member since April 2020, was itself elected "best airline alliance" for the 15th consecutive year at this 21st edition of the GT Tested Reader Survey Awards, confirming its pioneering role in global connectivity. The alliance brings together 13 major world-class airlines and connects its members to a global network covering more than 900 destinations worldwide, placing it among the three largest global alliances in air transport, concludes the press release.
The GT Tested Reader Survey, a global reference in the travel industry, rewards the best companies, particularly those specializing in luxury tourism and travel, each year through a survey conducted among 20,000 people. More than 80 categories are covered by this representative survey.
