Royal Air Maroc Launches Direct Casablanca-Beijing Flight in January 2020

The national air transport company, Royal Air Maroc, has just announced the opening of a new direct air link between Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca and Daxing in Beijing. The inauguration will take place from January 16, 2020.
According to a press release from Royal Air Maroc (RAM), this new airline route, which will for the first time connect Morocco to China in less than 13 hours, will be operated by the Dreamliner, Boeing 787-9, with a capacity of 301 seats including 26 in first class.
The press release adds that three weekly flights have been scheduled from Casablanca, in particular on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 5 p.m. Moroccan time. Return flights will take place on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays from 1:55 p.m. Arrival in Casablanca is scheduled for 7:55 p.m.
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Abdelhamid Addou, welcomed the establishment of this new airline route which, according to him, will strengthen the Moroccan presence on the Asian continent and meet the needs of economic players in the two countries.
