Royal Air Maroc to Launch Direct Flights Between Morocco and China in January

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is preparing to connect Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca to Beijing-Daxing International Airport on January 16, 2020.
Good news for Moroccans. The Moroccan company, Royal Air Maroc, will connect Morocco to China in less than 13 hours by direct flights operated by B787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with a capacity of 302 seats, including 26 in business class, the national company said in a press release.
According to RAM, three weekly frequencies will be offered. Flights from Casablanca will be scheduled every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 5:00 p.m. local time, arriving in Beijing at 11:55 a.m. local time (next day), while those from Beijing will be scheduled every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 1:55 p.m., arriving in Casablanca at 7:55 p.m.
This long-awaited new air route will undoubtedly contribute to the development of the "Morocco" destination for the world’s leading tourist-generating market," said Hamid Addou, Chairman and CEO of Royal Air Maroc.
For him, this new air route will not only meet a strong demand expressed by economic operators in both countries, but will also contribute to the further strengthening of trade and economic relations between Morocco and China.
