Royal Air Maroc Halts Casablanca-Beijing Flights Amid Coronavirus Concerns

Royal Air Maroc has just announced the temporary suspension of its flights between Casablanca and Beijing, effective this Friday, January 31 until February 29.
RAM is temporarily suspending its flights to Beijing, the Chinese capital. Launched on January 16, this route was operated by Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, three times a week. According to the company, this suspension is due to "the sharp drop in demand on the Casablanca-Beijing-Casablanca flights".
It reassures customers originally scheduled on this route beyond January 31 that they will be personally informed, using the contact details in their booking files (mobile phone and/or email address), arguing that new travel dates will be offered to them, without additional fees.
For any information request, RAM invites its customers to contact the following numbers: "Morocco: 089000 0800" and "International Number: +212522489797", adds the press release.
Like RAM, several airlines, including Air Austral, Air Canada, KLM, Lufthansa, Swiss, British Airways and Iberia, have suspended their flights to China.
