Royal Air Maroc Flight to Jordan Diverts Back to Casablanca After Technical Issue

A Royal Air Maroc plane, bound for the Jordanian capital, turned back towards Mohamed V Airport in Casablanca while flying over Algerian airspace.
The captain reportedly decided to interrupt the flight due to technical problems reported in the aircraft’s navigation screens.
According to the Akhbarona website, the airline pilot opted for passenger safety by deciding to turn around and return to Mohamed V Airport in Casablanca.
All passengers were then able to spend the night in a hotel on site, awaiting the next flight, while the aircraft was subjected to technical inspection, still according to the same source.
