Royal Air Maroc Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Casablanca After Cabin Pressure Loss

A Royal Air Maroc flight from Geneva narrowly avoided a crash on October 30 last, just meters from Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca. The aircraft encountered a technical problem during landing.
More fear than harm for the passengers of Royal Air Maroc flight AT931. The plane began an emergency descent, near the Casablanca airport, due to a loss of cabin pressure, reports the specialized site The Aviation Herald.

But thanks to the professionalism of the crew members who managed to restore an acceptable pressure by urgently descending the Boeing 737-800 to 10,000 feet, the aircraft was able to land safely on the airport runway half an hour later.
Since this incident, the aircraft has remained grounded. The Moroccan airline wants to scan it to identify the exact source of the problem, before any new flight. In this regard, RAM officials would even have contacted Boeing to request possible technical assistance.
