Royal Air Maroc Flight Attendants Arrested for Smuggling Cosmetics at Casablanca Airport

Two Royal Air Maroc (RAM) flight attendants were arrested at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca for attempting to bring contraband products into the country.
The incident occurred when the plane, operating flight AT 201 from the United States, landed in Casablanca. The two flight attendants were apprehended by customs agents as they were trying to exit the plane through the crew corridor with undeclared cosmetic products.
The seized goods, the value of which was not specified, are not authorized to enter Morocco without a certificate from the Ministry of Health and the payment of customs duties, according to Alyaoum24.
Suspicions of the presence of other undeclared goods on the plane, a thorough search was carried out. This operation, which required the help of RAM technicians, made it possible to discover a significant quantity of products hidden in the cabin and the toilets of the aircraft.
