Passenger Death Forces Royal Air Maroc Flight to U.S. to Turn Back

A Royal Air Maroc plane bound for the United States was forced to turn back to Casablanca airport after the in-flight death of a passenger aged around 60 years old.
The captain of Royal Air Maroc flight AT200 requested an emergency landing at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, from where it had just taken off, after noting the death of a passenger mid-flight.
Once the plane landed, the competent services transferred the body of the deceased to the forensic medicine unit of Ibn Rochd University Hospital, in accordance with the applicable procedures. The Moroccan company presented its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased.
