Royal Air Maroc Extends Airport Arrival Time to 4 Hours for International Flights Amid COVID Restrictions

The national airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has taken new measures regarding international flights. The spread of the coronavirus and its new variants is forcing the issue.
"Due to health and distancing measures, we ask our passengers taking international flights to arrive at the airport 4 hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight," Royal Air Maroc wrote on its Twitter account.
The national airline also reminds that the people authorized to leave Moroccan territory are fully vaccinated persons (second dose for more than 14 days), foreigners, Moroccans residing abroad (MREs) as well as holders of a specific authorization issued by the competent authorities.
"In order for the vaccination passes to be readable by the systems, they can be presented in digital format (phone) or printed on A4 paper. Miniature formats or folded papers are not readable," the company explains.
