Royal Air Maroc Expands Flights for Moroccan Diaspora Summer Return

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has gone all out to successfully carry out the exceptional program of its special flights in and out of Morocco. The national airline has, above all, complied with the conditions imposed by the government as part of the authorization of air and sea travel between the Kingdom and the rest of the world.
The CEO of RAM, Abdelhamid Addou, said on Wednesday that "the strong demand from members of the Moroccan community living abroad who are rushing to come and spend the summer holidays in Morocco is a testament to the success of the operation that has just been launched." For him, "it is now necessary to mobilize more planes to allow Moroccan students pursuing their studies in Europe and all Moroccans residing abroad (MREs) to return to the country to visit their families and loved ones," reports the MAP.
He also stressed that the national company has taken all the necessary preventive measures to ensure the health and safety of its customers and employees, and insists on the observance by all, of rules such as wearing masks, social distancing, and on all its flights, "only handbags and bags for children and laptops are allowed as cabin baggage."
The program of exceptional flights launched by RAM concerns a limited number of destinations, partly composed of routes already served by the national company, specifies the same source.
