Morocco Extends Special Flights from France Amid Travel Restrictions

The airlines Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and Air Arabia Maroc will continue to serve France as part of their repatriation program. These special flights will be operated until the date on which the Moroccan authorities have extended the state of health emergency, i.e. September 10.
The two companies had launched these special flights on July 15. In a press release, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) explains that these special flights "scheduled in coordination with the Moroccan authorities concerned are operated under the conditions imposed by the governments of the different countries as part of this operation". The company also specifies that the regular flights initially scheduled "are replaced by these new special flights".
The same goes for Air Arabia Maroc. The low-cost airline specifies that these special flights are reserved for the "repatriation of Moroccan citizens currently abroad regardless of their status (stranded tourists, students or Moroccans residing abroad, other status), and foreign citizens with a Moroccan residence permit and who are abroad for any reason and their families".
These flights are operated in strict compliance with the health measures enacted to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
