Rough Seas Damage Trucks, Cargo on Tangier-Marseille Ferry Crossing

A group of Moroccan travelers, mainly international transport professionals, but also Moroccans residing abroad, encountered difficulties during a maritime crossing between Tangier and Marseille. Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the ferry was confronted with giant waves and rough seas.
These conditions resulted in material damage, including the destruction of several international transport trucks. The transported goods were damaged, causing financial losses for the companies concerned.
Some transport professionals blame the shipping company, accusing it of maintaining the crossing despite the weather forecasts. "The company is jeopardizing people’s lives and safety to make a profit," said one of them on social media.
Faced with this situation, several companies are considering contacting their insurers to obtain compensation. Others prefer to approach the shipping company directly to demand compensation.
