Robert De Niro to Open Luxury Hotel in Marrakech’s Upscale District

Hollywood star Robert De Niro will soon be opening his hotel in Marrakech. This is his first investment in the sector on the continent.
The result of a partnership between the American actor and other investors, the new hotel establishment is located in the upscale Hivernage district. This five-star hotel is a transformation of the hotel The Pearl Marrakech.
With 71 suites, restaurants, a rooftop, the new complex also offers guests a swimming pool and one of the largest spas in the hotel chain, the Pearl Spa. Each of the suites offers a view either of the Atlas Mountains or the famous mosque, the Koutoubia.
Regarding the style, the new owners have chosen to keep part of the architecture of the old building, but transforming the interior. Thus, the new hotel is designed in the modern Japanese style of Nobu, while the rooms will embody the Japanese concept of Kokoro, we are told.
