Robert De Niro Inaugurates Luxury Nobu Hotel in Marrakech’s Historic District

Robert De Niro inaugurated his luxurious Nobu hotel in Marrakech, in the Hivernage district, on Thursday. The American actor was accompanied by the famous Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa and American director Meir Tepper, co-founders of the hotel chain.
Opened in January, the hotel offers 71 luxury suites, a world-renowned restaurant, a Nobu sushi bar, as well as a rooftop space with panoramic views and a swimming pool. The hotel’s "Pearl Spa" is one of the largest in the chain. The interiors combine Nobu’s Japanese aesthetics with Marrakech’s iconic heritage. The hotel is located near popular tourist sites such as the Jemaa el Fna square.
The Nobu hotel is distinguished by its circular floor plan offering a panoramic view of the Atlas Mountains and the Koutoubia Mosque. It has a nightclub, a garden and a circular swimming pool for all seasons.
The hotel’s restaurant offers Japanese and international cuisine prepared by chef Nobu Matsuhisa himself, while the sushi bar offers a selection of seasonal dishes and Mediterranean recipes. The Lobby Lounge is decorated with a Japanese bonsai, and the hotel also houses La Perla, one of the largest spas in the world, with 14 private suites, an underground mosaic pool and a hammam.
To stay there, you will have to spend at least 5,000 dirhams per day, the equivalent of 500 euros, unless you find a promotion.
