Risk of flight cancellations between Belgium and Morocco

This radical decision was made to ensure the safety of passengers and staff, in the face of the announced strike of a large number of employees among the security service providers and ground handlers. The airport, which fears long queues and major disruptions, has explicitly asked travelers not to go there that day.

This social movement is part of a three-day action organized in a united union front to challenge the policy of the federal government. The schedule provides for a strike of public transport on Monday, November 24, followed by public services on Tuesday, November 25, before a generalization to all sectors on Wednesday, November 26. While Brussels Airport does not anticipate any impact for the first two days, Wednesday will be critical. Although inbound flights may be maintained, cancellations remain possible, and passengers concerned are advised to check the status of their flight with their airline.

Passengers who have not yet modified their reservation will be contacted to find an alternative solution, as the airlines are responsible for directly informing their clients of the cancellations.
