Repeat Offender with 60 Convictions Arrested Again in Barcelona
Author of around a hundred offenses and convicted around sixty times, a Moroccan in his thirties was arrested again in Barcelona. On December 19, Mohamed E. M. appeared before the court.
A professional robber, the Moroccan, who had just arrived in the Catalan city, is already on the list of the most active and wanted criminals, according to local media. The repeat offender had a preference for businesses in the Sant Antoni and Eixample neighborhoods.
Since October 26, the date of his last imprisonment, Mohamed has appeared before the judge 6 times without ever being convicted. Placed in pre-trial detention several times, he has always been released, the media point out, questioning the entire judicial system.
His latest arrest by the Mossos d’Esquadra dates back to December 19. Following the robbery of a shoe store in the Sarria district, the Moroccan was indicted and detained on 9 counts.
