Repeat Offender Arrested in Tangier with Over 1 Kg of Cocaine

The search in the DGST database revealed that the suspect is the subject of a national wanted notice by the judicial police of Tangier, for his involvement in international drug trafficking, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).

The police elements seized 1.16 kg of cocaine, five electronic scales, seven mobile phones and a light vehicle, during the search of the defendant’s home.

Pending the elucidation of the ins and outs of this case, and the determination of its possible ramifications at the national and international levels, the defendant was placed in custody.
