Repeat Offender Arrested in Kénitra After Wielding Sword at Wedding Ceremony

An individual with a criminal record was arrested for illegal possession of a sword, during a wedding. Apprehended by the security services of Kénitra, he was placed in custody, for the needs of the investigation.
A strange scene went viral on social media this Sunday, July 14, 2019. A repeat offender, known in drug trafficking circles, and his gang, caused panic on July 8, during a wedding ceremony in Kénitra. They were in possession of large caliber bladed weapons, more precisely, swords. This serious incident was the subject of a video that was widely shared on social networks. In addition, it was viewed by the police services.
They initiated investigations to shed light on the incident, informs a press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN). Latest news, the authors of this video were identified and one of them was arrested on Sunday.
The defendant, placed in custody, is made available to the Judicial Police, for the needs of the investigation. Pending the arrest of the other defendants, all identified, the investigations continue.
