Renowned Moroccan Actress Saadia Louk Dies in Casablanca Clinic

After a few days of hospitalization in a clinic in Casablanca, actress Saadia Louk has just passed away.
Saadia Louk is no more. Suffering from a serious illness and paralyzed, she died this Wednesday in a clinic in Casablanca. She was unable to finance her treatment. It was Moroccan actor and director Saïd Naciri who took care of the actress’s medical expenses. The latter had been transferred from Marrakech to a private clinic in Casablanca where she passed away.
Khadija, the late actress’s daughter, was the only support for her mother since she had been struck by paralysis, particularly because she was not receiving any monthly income. Worse, the actress was living in difficult health and financial conditions due to the high cost of medical care and rehabilitation. Khadija had launched an appeal for help to the Ministry of Culture and to any goodwill person so that her mother could receive quality care and recover quickly.
The native of Marrakech was known for her popular roles and her accent. She delighted the public with many artistic works. Morocco has lost an iconic figure of theater and cinema.
