Beloved Moroccan Actor Mohamed El Khalfi Hospitalized in Critical Condition

An iconic figure of Moroccan cinema, Mohamed El Khalfi has in recent years faced serious health problems that have forced him to distance himself from the artistic scene. Despite difficult conditions and a lack of access to care, he has fought in silence and alone against the illness that kept him bedridden.

His artistic career began in 1957 in amateur theater alongside great names like Tayeb Saddiki and Ahmed Taïeb El Alj. A few days ago, the Casablanca Arab Film Festival paid tribute to him during its fifth edition, marking the end of a long absence.
