Reality TV Star Marine El Himer Granted Moroccan Citizenship

"After a long year of back and forth, heavy and long administrative procedures, I can finally brandish this little document that represents so much for me: the receipt of my Moroccan National Identity Card. It is therefore with great joy, pride and emotion that I announce to you that I can FINALLY declare myself a Moroccan Citizen," she wrote in an Instagram post on September 30, accompanied by a photo of her taken in Casablanca.

Questioned a few weeks ago about her "awakening to religion," Marine El Himer had indicated that she would address the subject when the time was right. During a stay in Casablanca, the pretty brunette shared a photo of herself veiled in front of a mosque a few hours later, with the caption "Jumuaa mubaraka," to wish her subscribers a blessed Friday. The post was very well received by her fans.
