French Navy Sailor Arrested in Morocco with 12 kg of Hashish

Came to participate in a naval exercise in Morocco, a French national, a member of the military navy, was arrested this Thursday morning for possession of hashish.
It was at the entrance of the port of Tangier-ville that the Frenchman was arrested by the police. He had about 12 kilograms of cannabis resin on him. The suspect would be a member of the crew of the French frigate Surcouf on a stopover in the port of Tangier.
The Surcouf frigate has been participating for a few days in the naval exercise CHEBEC22, which aims to "maintain the ability of the Moroccan and French navies to operate jointly to respond to crisis situations at sea". It is an exercise organized jointly with the Royal Navy, which is participating with the frigate Allal Ben Abdellah.
