Real Valladolid’s Selim Amallah Faces Season-Ending Injury After Valencia Match

Substituted due to injury during the match against Valencia, Moroccan international Selim Amallah, midfielder of Real Valladolid, could not return to the pitch until the end of the season.
Real Valladolid could be without Selim Amallah for the rest of the season. On Friday, the Moroccan international injured his right shoulder after an intervention by Cenk Özkacar, and was substituted at the end of the first half against Valencia. It is more precisely a torn ligament for which the 26-year-old player could undergo surgery, reports the Spanish media El Desmarque. If surgery were to be confirmed, he could stay away from the pitch until the end of the season.
Selim Amallah joined Real Valladolid this winter from Standard Liège. He has scored 2 goals and provided 1 assist in 7 appearances in La Liga.
