Valencia’s New Signing Amallah Sees Red in Second Match Setback

Amallah’s second game at Mestalla couldn’t have gone worse. The Moroccan international received two yellow cards for a tackle on Mikel Merino and an elbow to the face of Traoré, getting sent off before the end of the first half.

Before his dismissal, Amallah had been very active and given Real Sociedad’s defenders a hard time and could have scored his first goal, if it weren’t for Remiro’s superb save, reports El Desmarque.

Amallah made his debut at Mestalla in the match against Atlético de Madrid (3-0) as a left winger. The Moroccan midfielder is in Baraja’s plans who trusts him. The coach has no doubt about the player’s qualities and is convinced that he can bring a lot to the Valencia team.
