Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz Eyes Spain Debut in Nations League After Milan Heroics

Brahim Diaz could be on the list of players selected by Luis Enrique for the Nations League to be held in Italy from October 6 to 10. The Moroccan-born striker of Real Madrid on loan to Milan has had a golden opportunity to be part of the Spanish national team.
The 22-year-old Moroccan-born striker has a good chance of making his debut with the Spanish national team in the match against Lithuania. Brahim Diaz has worked wonders in AC Milan’s match against Atletico Madrid at San Siro for the second matchday of the group stage. For 57 minutes of play, he provided an assist that allowed Leao to score a goal and gave the red-and-white defense a hard time. He had to leave the field after receiving a blow to the knee, but this will not prevent him from being available for next Sunday’s clash against Atalanta, reports Ok Diario.

"Brahim is suffering from knee tendinitis. It’s a chronic problem. From time to time he has an inflamed tendon. I hope it will pass quickly and that he will be available for Sunday’s game," said Pioli, the Milan coach. The player is already feeling much better and has even trained without any problems, the same source specifies.
Brahim Diaz has two dreams he wants to achieve: he wants to succeed at Real Madrid and wants to play for the Spanish national team. If he maintains his current level, the doors of the Bernabeu will be wide open to him. The Moroccan-born striker has declined numerous calls from Morocco to be part of the Atlas Lions, saying he wants to play for Spain, his country and with whom he wants to succeed.
