An absolutely exceptional case in Morocco: last Tuesday, a woman gave birth at the Mohammed V Hospital in Chefchaouen to triplets sharing a single placenta.
The mother, who gave birth naturally without resorting to a cesarean section, is doing very well. Her three babies are also in excellent health.
The website Tanja24, which reports this information, indicates that the delivery was carried out under the supervision of a medical team accustomed to this type of intervention.
According to hospital officials, this is a rare delivery in the kingdom. In addition, multiple pregnancies are at risk and require close monitoring.
