Rapper Rohff Calls for Release of Mister You, Jailed French-Moroccan Artist

Incarcerated since last July at the Santé prison (Paris) after his arrest at Orly airport, the Franco-Moroccan rapper Younes Latifi alias Mister You is receiving the support of his friend Rohff, who in a message addressed to the authorities, has called for his release.
The Franco-Moroccan rapper was arrested as he was about to go to Morocco with his family to spend his vacation there. Mister You was the subject of a wanted notice for having been sentenced in March 2021 to a commutable sentence of two years. He had been accused of promoting a drug sales point on social networks in 2019.
His lawyer protested against this decision. "The execution of this sentence without prior summons is a procedural madness. It is a human shame all the more so as my client has just seen his twins born, barely three weeks ago. We will use all avenues of appeal to allow his freedom as soon as possible," he said.
As for Rohff, he says he has sent positive vibes to his friend and hopes for his release. On Instagram, he posted "big thought and strength to Younès. Free Mister You" followed by the track they have in common and whose title is "Solid".
