Moroccan Rap Star ElGrandeToto Denied French Visa, Cancels Concert
Wednesday 10 August 2022, by
ElGrandeToto will not be performing his scheduled concert as part of the Demifestival, organized in Sète, France. The Moroccan rap star was denied an entry visa to the country. Another refusal that annoys the artist.
Irritated, the Moroccan has expressed his indignation at the treatment he is receiving in certain consulates. In a video posted on his Instagram account, Toto announced to his millions of followers that he is once again forced to cancel his concert at the Demifestival of Franco-Moroccan rapper Demi Portion in Sète. In addition to this festival, he also had a tour planned in France in October that is also at risk of falling through.
Less than a month ago, the Moroccan rapper had done a mini-tour in France where he had performed on a few stages. However, for this latest trip, ElGrandeToto said he had only been able to obtain a 10-day visa. "I can’t take it anymore. I don’t understand why after submitting a complete and solid file, I only get 10 days," he was outraged.
To recall, the rapper also canceled his concert in Egypt last October, where thousands of young Egyptian fans were eagerly awaiting his show. But due to a lack of a visa, he was unable to honor this appointment.
