Rapper Master Gims Shares Impromptu Quran Recitation During Ramadan
While he has just made a clip with Maluma in Marrakech, Master Gims, the famous Congolese singer, has just posted on his Instagram account a video where we see him reciting the beginning of Surah Yasin. A video worth watching.
It is clear that nothing was prepared, that he is just in the car, and that he immortalized this moment when, during this Ramadan, he decided to recite the Quran and share it with his fans. This video has created a buzz. The rapper’s vocal cords seemed to be used without laziness during this exercise and it is enough to watch the video to understand it.
Master Gims, whose real name is Gandhi Djuna, converted to Islam a few years ago. In 2017, he performed the Umrah rite with his wife, Demdem, while posting several photos of himself on this occasion, notably on Snapchat.
It should be noted that Gims’ latest clip with Maluma was released on May 10 on YouTube and has already accumulated more than 10 million views. Gims said to MAP: "I wanted to shoot this clip here in Marrakech where I live, to highlight this millennial city and its huge tourism potential".
