Rapper French Montana Lists Lavish Hidden Hills Estate for $22.75 Million
Moroccan-born rapper French Montana, whose real name is Karim Karbouch, is parting ways with his magnificent estate in Hidden Hills, California, according to information revealed by The New York Times.
The artist had acquired this sumptuous 7-bedroom, 9-bathroom residence, spanning nearly 1,500 square meters, in 2020 for an amount of $8,425,000. Today, he hopes to obtain nearly $22,750,000 for it.
Nestled in the upscale Ashley Ridge neighborhood, on a 5,660 m² plot, the residence has undergone a complete transformation. The Iqosa architecture firm has redesigned the spaces, featuring limestone floors and custom oak beam ceilings. Among the high-end amenities, there is a kitchen equipped with stainless steel Viking appliances, a bar, a basketball court, a private cinema and a wine cellar.
In this exceptional place, the master bedroom has a double fireplace, a living room, two large dressing rooms. The garden, accessible from the vast 372 square meter living room through glass walls, houses a beautiful pool, a spa, as well as an outdoor kitchen, to name just a few of the facilities.
Born in Morocco, French Montana has made a career in the United States after immigrating as a teenager. He founded the Coke Boys Records and Cocaine City Records labels and has had success with hits like "Pop That" and "Unforgettable". Recently, his journey was recounted in a documentary titled "For Khadija", named after his mother, which premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival.
