The unified Muslim calendar based on calculations indicates the dates of Ramadan 1442/2021. The month of fasting lasts 30 days. The beginning of the month of Ramadan 1442 is thus set for Tuesday, April 13, 2021. As for the end of the month of Ramadan 1442, it is set for Wednesday, May 12, 2021. The Eid al-Fitr (first day of Shawwal) is therefore scheduled for Thursday, May 13, 2021.
Just like last year, Muslims will have to live the month of Ramadan in a particular way due to the coronavirus pandemic that continues to hit France hard. The CFCM has not yet communicated the day on which it will announce the dates of the beginning and end of the fast in France.
