Rabat Police Arrest Two Suspects for Vandalism and Public Intoxication

The Services of the Rabat Police Prefecture proceeded to arrest, on Saturday, July 20, 2019, two delinquents, for their alleged involvement in acts of manifest drunkenness and damage to the property of others. One of them was actively wanted, nationwide.
Following an alert, elements of the Mobile Brigade of the Police Rescue and Anti-Gang Brigade immediately intervened to put out of harm’s way two drug addicts, according to a press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN). They had damaged parked cars in the alleys of the Takadoum area in Rabat, the same press release specifies.
The police arrested the two defendants on the spot and seized the bladed weapon in possession of one of them.
Meanwhile, the accused have been placed in custody, for the needs of the investigation. The Judicial Police is conducting it under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office, in order to identify all the people who would be involved in these criminal acts.
