Quranic Radio Station Tops Moroccan Airwaves, Outperforming Commercial Rivals

According to the latest data revealed by Radiométrie Maroc, Radio Mohammed VI of the Holy Quran remains the most listened to station ahead of Med radio and Hit radio.
During this period, 14.956 million Moroccans aged 11 and over listened to the radio every day, across all stations, representing a national audience rate of 53%, according to the report, which states that the preferred time slot for Moroccans is 2pm-5pm.
Radio Mohammed VI (4.887 million listeners) thus maintains the gap with Med radio, which is still second with 3.477 million listeners, at the top of the ranking of commercial radio stations and closely followed by Hit Radio, which is credited with 3.432 million listeners on an average weekday, it is specified.
At the geographical level, the radio significantly strengthens its penetration in the major cities. In Agadir, there is an 8.5 point increase, while in Tanger the medium has a penetration of 7 points.
