PSG Stars Stunned by Doumbé’s 9-Second Knockout in Paris MMA Debut

Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, his friend Kylian Mbappé and several other PSG players were shocked by Cédric Doumbé’s 9-second KO of his French compatriot Jordan Zebo at the PFL (Professional Fighters League) at the Zénith in Paris.
Cédric Doumbé made a successful debut at the PFL on Saturday in Paris. Arriving in the arena with a mattress on which was written "Good night Jordan", he was sure to beat his compatriot. He receives the encouragement of his fans who have taken up the slogan "Jordan, you’re dead!", launched by Doumbé on social networks a few weeks before the fight. The multiple world kickboxing champion turned mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter made short work of his opponent. Doumbé landed two punches straight to Zebo’s head, knocking him out in less than 10 seconds of fighting, in front of some 6,000 spectators. Among them, Moroccan right-back Achraf Hakimi, his friend Kylian Mbappé and several other PSG players who were stunned after this monstrous and incredible KO.
"Hey! I told you what? [...] I had prepared well, I obviously didn’t think it would last 10 seconds, but I didn’t want it to last. It’s my specialty, timing is important, when someone sends me a body shot (his opponent’s kick, editor’s note), you have to answer right away," said the 31-year-old fighter to the public after the fight. He nevertheless did not fail to pay tribute to his opponent Jordan Zebo: "Jordan is very young, I told him hey big guy, forget this defeat, I’m not bragging, but I hit harder than you, keep training, I don’t want this defeat to kill you."
