PSG Stars Hakimi and Mbappé: A Friendship That Transcends the Pitch

Hakimi and Mbappé have forged a strong friendship since the Moroccan’s arrival at the Parc des Princes. "In Kylian’s case, it’s a real connection between us. From my arrival, he helped me a lot, especially to integrate. He gave me a hand when I needed it. I will be eternally grateful to him," Hakimi confided.

The two players have a certain "connection" on the field and off. "When you feel good with a teammate on the field and off, it’s obviously easier to play together and even more so with him given his qualities. We speak the same type of football, we quickly get on the same wavelength, we know exactly where and when we want the ball, just by looking at each other," added the Moroccan defender.

The Atlas Lion also addressed his progress in the Parisian team since the arrival of Luis Enrique. Unlike previous seasons, the right-back has regained confidence in himself and is having an exceptional start to the season. In 16 games this year, he has already scored 4 goals and provided 4 assists. "I have evolved on many aspects and I continue," he assures.

For Hakimi, Enrique’s arrival is "really good" for him. He seems to thrive in this new offensive role that the Spanish coach has entrusted him with. "I am asked to participate more, especially when we attack and in the last third of the field. It’s something I like to do, I feel comfortable and freer."
