PSG’s Achraf Hakimi Stays Put Under Luis Enrique’s Leadership

Achraf Hakimi no longer plans to leave Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). The Moroccan international, who for a few months no longer felt happy at the Parc des Princes, is satisfied with the management of the new coach Luis Enrique and no longer thinks of leaving.
The Moroccan right-back was determined to say goodbye to PSG where he no longer felt comfortable for a few months. Hakimi also wanted to turn the page on the alleged rape case for which he was indicted in February. But his plans have changed since the arrival of Luis Enrique at the head of the Parisian team, replacing Christophe Galtier.
The 26-year-old Moroccan player no longer plans to leave Paris. With the Asturian coach in charge, he is motivated to stay at the Parc des Princes until the end of his contract in June 2026, according to Mundo Deportivo. Hakimi has already participated in the two pre-season matches in Japan. In the first match against Cerezo Osaka, he played barely 35 minutes, but showed a good level of play. On Tuesday, against his former club Inter Milan, he played the full 90 minutes and performed well, but that was not enough for Paris to win the match.
Achraf Hakimi is set to be a key player for the new PSG led by Luis Enrique where there is a good atmosphere and a desire to have a great season, despite the two pre-season defeats and the Mbappé saga.
