PSG Star Achraf Hakimi Reportedly Eyeing Summer Exit Amid Club Tensions

Achraf Hakimi, defender of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), would seriously consider leaving the French capital this summer. Although under contract with the Parisian club until June 2026, it seems that the player is no longer comfortable in France.
Several elements would contribute to this desire to leave. The atmosphere within the club, especially this season, is one of the cited factors, according to El Mundo Deportivo. Added to this is his involvement in an alleged sexual assault case and personal problems related to his marital situation. Achraf’s discomfort at PSG was visible during his expulsion in a match against Ajaccio, where he was filmed saying: "That’s France for you."
Considered one of the best Moroccan players today, Hakimi has already played for very prestigious clubs. He played at Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund and was trained at Real Madrid before joining PSG. However, two major obstacles stand in the way of a possible transfer: the duration of his contract, signed in 2021 for a period of five years, and his current salary, which exceeds 10 million euros net per season. Moreover, his teammate and friend Kylian Mbappé has just announced his intention to extend in Paris, which could perhaps make him change his mind.
